my new toyAfter completing the wretched practicum report, it was only fair to reward myself for slaving over the damn keyboard on the weekend. At this point I do not feel like typing anything but I'm too excited.. my macbook pro has arrived. Having told that my beloved computer is going to be placed in my brother's room upon my return home to perth didn't sit well. So getting my own laptop which will live in MY room, sounded great. To congratulate myself I ordered the macbook on apple's website on monday morning after Leopard had been released (with ravishing reviews I've heard) and it arrived this morning.
With prior experiences of courier arriving at the deadliest hour of the morning, I forced myself out of bed at 8am just to wait for my delivery, at which point I resorted to watching Good Morning Australia, Sunrise, and Kerri-Anne. After some failed attempts at doing a 1hr yoga session - i was too distracted to stay calm - i went to my room to chill instead. And then it arrived. Woohoo.. spent the entire day playing around, installing windows and downloading software. What a distraction but hey, it's not like i'm going to study anytime soon; knowing me I'll probably start on monday.
